Job Overview - Stocking Rainbow Acres Natural Food has been serving our customers and community by offering options for healthy lifestyles since 1981. Our superb customer service and nutritional knowledge set us apart from other stores. We are the friendliest one-stop shop for all your health and healing needs. Tentative shifts: 6AM-2PM and 7AM-4PM Shifts.Responsibilities for Stocker Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators Move, handle, and transport finished products, material, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves), and dispose of trash Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information Perform other duties as assigned Follow safety policies and procedures, and encourage colleagues to do the same Qualifications for Stocker High school diploma or GED strongly preferred Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred Powered by JazzHR
