Job Summary : Performs cost, financial and manufacturing accounting related activities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Compiles and analyzes financial information in order to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts that documents business transactions Prepares and verifies the entering of journal entries to the general ledger Evaluates accounts for obvious errors, omissions or irregular activity and works with users to remediate Perform all tasks associated with the general ledger and related activity Understand, assist and participate with all budgeting and forecasting processes and activities Completes monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Read, analyze and interpret financial reports, bank statements and accounting regulations in how they impact the organization Assist Accounting Manager in performing ad-hoc analysis as needed Qualifications: Proficient skills in manufacturing accounting, account analysis and end to end problem solutions Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and facilitate effective decision-making Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Able to work within a cross functional and matrixed environment Solid understanding and use of all Microsoft Office products including Excel Positive attitude and ability to be flexible with changing work priorities Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment or equivalent experience Benefits: In addition to your base compensation, you are provided with a wide range of benefit programs which are designed to enhance the quality of your life, to provide protection and help when some of life's problems may occur.
