Sprinkler Service Technician - Maumee Ohio
What you will do Perform new installations, retrofit and repair of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire sprinkler systems. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all debris associated with work. Maintain proper documentation for all work performed Follow verbal and written instructions, read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation activities Properly secure all tools and equipment at the end of each work period Complete and submit time reports and safety documents as required May be required to work alternate shifts or weekends to meet customer service/installation qualifications Perform other duties as directed What we look for Required A high-school diploma or G.E.D. Completion of a nationally recognized Apprentice program Min 5yrs documented background in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems Possess a current drivers license and driving history that meets company qualifications. Background training and mentoring apprentices Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment weighing up to 70 pounds. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 ft, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities Expertise to work adjustable hours.
