We are actively seeking talented and dedicated individuals who share our vision of enabling low-cost wind energy to join our rapidly growing team in Pampa. We are currently accepting applications for a Spiral Mill Operator. Spiral Mill Operator Job Responsibilities :· Following supervisor instructions to prepare wind tower sections for fabrication operations, set up, and operate the sub-arc welder· Welding, grinding, and repairing wind tower sections before presenting them to Quality Inspectors; repairing all seaming defects as directed· Working primarily independently, with essential tools and welding equipment provided; employee is responsible for maintaining and being accountable for tools and equipment· Ensuring timely and efficient work to deliver a quality product without manufacturing defects· Performing additional duties as directed by leadership and management· Actively participating in department safety and demonstrating excellent safety practices and behaviors in compliance with all safety policies and procedures· Completing other work-related tasks as assigned· Complying with all Keystone Tower Systems company and safety policies and procedures Required Qualifications :• Successful completion of an AWS welder qualification test and the ability to use sub-arc welding equipment without difficulty• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and/or at least 1 year of fabrication experience (preferred)• Knowledge of welding properties for a variety of metals and alloys• Thorough understanding of welding procedures and practices, including the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and work with standard U.S. and Metric measurements Highly Qualified Candidates Will Possess :• A high school diploma or GED equivalent• Graduation certificate from an accredited trade school• American Welding Society (AWS) welding certification• Ability to identify and communicate production or maintenance problems to departmental supervision• A highly motivated, passionate approach to their craft, possessing integrity and drive to excel and deliver exceptional results in a team-oriented production environmentEmployment at Keystone Tower Systems is contingent upon a satisfactory background check, satisfactory drug screen results, and passing any further pre-employment testing and or screening required for this position.
