Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Claremont, NH Hourly Rate: $35.71/hour Annual Salary: $74,276.80 Shift Notes: Monday-Friday Shift Hours: 8hours Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will primarily perform bedside swallow evaluations and barium swallows at our rehabilitation team. This role involves diagnosing and treating individuals of all ages who have health-related conditions that limit their ability to perform functional activities within the scope of speech language pathology. The SLP is responsible for the administration and direct application of speech/language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. The position includes examining individuals, developing a care plan, restoring or maximizing function, slowing or preventing decline following disease or injury, and coordinating with supportive staff. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat speech and swallowing disorders. Perform bedside swallow evaluations and barium swallows. Develop and implement treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient assessments. Coordinate and supervise supportive staff in the delivery of speech pathology services. Contribute to departmental budget considerations relating to speech pathology needs. Ensure personal competency and professional development in speech pathology. Communicate and align work efforts with the organizations vision within the rehabilitation team. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred, with specific skills in swallowing evaluations.
