Job Title : Sonographer II Location : Coos Bay, OR Shift Type : Varied Hours : 8 hours/day, 80 hours per two-week pay period Hourly Pay Rate : $42.00 - $63.00/hour (based on experience) Job Overview: The Sonographer II is a healthcare professional responsible for providing clinically relevant information to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Under the supervision of the Radiology management team, the Sonographer performs medical imaging in a variety of specialty areas. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in specialty areas to assist with accurate diagnosis and patient treatment. Participate in "stand-by/on-call" rotations after regular department hours, including weekends and holidays. Document and generate reports using applicable computer software. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to create a supportive and efficient environment for patient care. Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with computer skills and software for documentation and report generation. Advanced training and experience in sonography. Ability to foster collaboration with the healthcare team and maintain a professional atmosphere. Punctual, consistent, and able to maintain attendance at assigned job locations. Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Education/Certifications/Licenses: Graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program. Valid Oregon permanent or temporary OBMI license required upon hire. American Heart Association BLS certification required. Minimum of two specialty certifications from one of the following: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Experience: At least one year of prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
