Job description Solar States is seeking a capable and experienced Solar Installer to join our residential crew in meeting our solar pipeline in NJ and PA. We treat our people fairly by providing great benefits including 15 days PTO, 5 sick days, 10 paid holidays, health and dental coverage, profit sharing and generous 401K retirement benefits!Position Responsibilities: Install photovoltaic (PV) systems (modules and racking) in accordance with codes and standards using and following design, drawings, and specs Working on residential and commercial roof tops as well as installing ground mounted systems, and other custom installations Pulling of inventory and knowledge of solar inventory for specific projects Operate general carpentry, hand, and power tools Perform electrical work as needed to connect solar system to electric grid Identify electrical, environmental and safety hazards associated with installation OSHA 30 qualifications (required) Taking photos, documenting job site, and posting photos to PM software Truck & Inventory understanding of solar equipment. Manage & maintain cleanliness and organization of crew vehicle and the company warehouse Ensuring safety of entire crew and double-checking of all site safety equipment Valid driver’s license Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum 1+ year(s) of residential solar/O&M experience Benefits: Health and Dental Care options Generous 401k Retirement Benefits Paid Time Off (15 days) Sick Time (3 days) Childcare Benefits Paid Holidays Flexible Schedule We are committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
