Software Test Engineer [Level II]

Software Test Engineer [Level II] DUTIES: Automation testing to improve user interface design and performance in UI and APPS; Automation Testing focusing on UI and API testing for both web applications and mobile Apps; Perform back end testing using complex database queries to validate API and UI data; Develop Hybrid test automation framework to deliver substantial ROI and measurable increase in overall QA efficiency; Develop and implement the overall testing strategy for automation and tooling including evaluating existing automation and tool capabilities; Perform defect management, defect tracking and defect analysis; Carry out both Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD); Carry out GUI testing, Localization testing, Regression testing, User Acceptance testing, Functional testing, System testing, Integration testing, and End to End testing; Work in AWS and GCP environments; Utilize understanding of Junit specs for results; Work with test documentation-test plans and test cases; Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in order to apply them to project after POC; Participate in bug/issue triage meetings with Scrum teams; Work in complete software development lifecycles (SDLC and STLC) including Agile development and testing; Technologies used involve Programming: Java, C#, JavaScript, NodeJS/Typescript; BDD & TDD Frameworks: Cucumber, SpecFlow; CI/CD & Related Tools; CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline; Containerization: Docker/Kubernetes; Automation Testing Platforms: Selenium, Postman, QTP, Rest Assured, SOAP API, TestNG, Data Driven, Hybrid; API Testing Tools: POSTMAN, REST Assured; Relational & Non-Relational Databases: MySQL, Mongo; Other Tools: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Junit specs, AWS, GCP. May perform some or all of above tasks depending on scope of each project assignment; Travel to relocate to various unanticipated client sites across the USA is required.
