Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package In-Depth Engineering Corporation seeks junior level software engineers to support our rapidly growing Department of the Navy development and modernization programs. This notice is for development and support of the AEGIS Combat Systems Display Subsystem to maintain and update the existing source code and functionality.This will include verification of issues written as Problem Reports against the system, investigation of possible software fixes, implementation and testing of those fixes, and integrating those fixes back into the system. We seek self-starters capable of independent effort as well as participation on a small team. The work will be performed on-site in our Research and Development Lab in Columbia, MD.Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance. This is a permanent, full-time position. Duties: Utilize modern software automation tools in agile environment to develop combat system software Design, develop, integrate, and test software for the Aegis Display Subsystem Principally object-oriented C++ and Java in a Linux environment Prepare SW engineering design documentation Prepare and present engineering material within the peer review process and to customer as appropriate Qualifications: Must be US Citizen for consideration 0 2 years of experience BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Experience with C++ and/or Java Experience with Linux Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Ability to hold an active Secret clearance In-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401(k) program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
