We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and building long-lasting relationships with our clients which has made us a trusted name in the industry.Job Description: The Shop Forman will work hands on to oversee and assist with the day-to-day supervising, coordinating employees, shop flow, customer updates, assigning work, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded, assisting with diagnostics, shop performance, service quality, and estimating.Key Responsibilities: Manage service and repair personnel by assigning and directing activities, following up on repairs being made, perform repairs as needed and appraise performance of shop personnel. Plan and schedule repairs, being proactive to job reviewing the work load for the day, making an efficient execution plan. Assist technicians with diagnostic and mechanical help as needed. Perform ongoing hands-on-training of service and repair personnel. Oversee active jobs to ensure they are within the estimated limits of the customer's expectations. Update customers on daily job progress. Act as a backup for the Maintenance Manager/Service Writer with answering the phone, responding to emails and COD customer billing when needed. Qualifications: Valid Class A or B driver's license is recommended. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on a wide range of Class 6, 7, 8, trucks and medium duty trucks. Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new software programs. Excellent communication skills, management priorities and organizational skills.
