A successful Service Plumber is a skilled troubleshooter and customer advocate, swiftly diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues. Install and maintain plumbing systems, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and heating/cooling systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test systems for leaks and other plumbing issues. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Provide accurate estimates for repairs and installations. Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, costs, and timelines to build trust and secure repeat business. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including truck inventory management. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly. Maintain communication with dispatch, management, parts, and installation teams. Participate in weekly meetings and training sessions for continuous professional development. Requirements for the Service Plumber: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Service Plumbing. Possess and maintain an up-to-date plumbing Tradesman/Journeyman license. Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to apply them on the job. Passion for communicating with customers and resolving plumbing issues.
