A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter (Excess) to evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage and pricing. Key Responsibilities Review insurance applications and assess risks to determine coverage acceptance Monitor underwriting performance and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations Collaborate with the underwriting team to provide recommendations for risk mitigation Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum 7 years of underwriting or related insurance experience Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRIS are a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software Experience working with cross-functional teams
