You’ll educate businesses and individual clients on tactics to optimize their tax payments and advise them on how to save more in the future. Applicants should be strong communicators who can simplify complex tax information and provide excellent customer service. If you pride yourself on a high level of accuracy in your work and love helping people, please apply today! The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and manage a variety of tax projects for clients. This position requires strong technical and communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients to ensure timely, quality delivery of both simple and complex tax projects, planning and projections for high-income earners. The ideal candidate will have a strong tax background and be able to execute both simple and complex tax and investment strategies. The position can be located in Boise, Idaho, or remote. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to significantly expand their knowledge of tax law and its application. There is tremendous room for advancement for the right person. We provide a high level of service for our clients and go above and beyond. Extra little touches set us apart. Expected working hours - 40 hrs/wk up to 50 during deadlines. Flexible work environment - not looking for a chair warmer. Need to be available during normal work hours. Responsibilities:Oversee and perform as necessary tax compliance activities for individuals and businesses, including:• Prepare and Review Federal and State income tax returns• Tax planning and projections• Tax research, resolution and correspondence• Manage client information requests and deliverables• Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns• Ensure quality standards are maintained• Provide support on special tax projects and initiatives• Collaborate with staff, clients and management• Assist with Firm Initiatives as necessaryReport directly to VP of Tax• Limited client communication. Ability to work directly with clients as desired/time goes on Qualifications:• Superior attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical and planning skills• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team in various levels• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations• Strong computer skills with knowledge and skills in a wide variety of applications, ProSeries software experience a plus• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting• Multi-state experience - we operate in most states• State tax research experience• Self-starter, ability to figure things out on own• Ability to thrive in remote work environment• Curious• Karbon, Microsoft 365 Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly About Company: Legacy Integrated provides a complete outsourced CFO and Family Office experience to high net-worth and high-income-earning professionals and families with closely held businesses.
