Team Size: Join a small but highly collaborative team of engineers and product developers, where you will have a direct impact on the products development and the overall company vision. About the Role: As a Senior Software Engineer, youll take a leading role in shaping the companys product direction, focusing on backend development. Youll have the opportunity to influence both what gets built and how its built, working with a dynamic team to iterate on product features. Key Responsibilities: Build scalable backend systems that process data and power key user features. Design data models, implement APIs, and leverage cloud infrastructure. Debug and resolve issues across all layers: frontend, backend, API, and database. Collaborate with the engineering team in an iterative product development environment. Requirements: 7+ years of experience building backend applications. Experience in designing scalable systems and working with large datasets. Expertise in NodeJS, Postgres, and AWS. Startup experience, with an ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities. Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to code quality. Pragmatic mindset with an understanding of when to take on technical debt and prioritize architecture. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: Up to $180,000 Equity: 1% Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. Work Authorization: TN, H1B, O1 visa sponsorship available.
