This is a non-partnership, professional-track role tailored for an attorney with extensive experience in structured securities offerings, with a particular focus on commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions, representing a range of clients including real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors.Duties:Manage structured securities offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with client objectives.Provide representation for clients in a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, restructuring, complex financing arrangements, and real estate development.Offer strategic legal advice on real estate finance and the structuring of investment portfolios.Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and internal teams to streamline the transaction process.Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support the structuring and execution of complex financial transactions.Requirements:A minimum of 6 years experience in structured securities offerings, particularly within commercial real estate law.Strong background in real estate finance, acquisitions, and property dispositions.Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and transaction structuring within real estate investment.Previous experience with a top law firm, ideally within the AmLaw 100.Active membership with the bar in Washington, DC.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Member in good standing with the Washington, DC State Bar.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Sound business judgment and problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.Exceptional client service skills with a commitment to maintaining client relationships.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holiday benefits.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Supportive work culture promoting career advancement.
