This professional-track role, which does not lead to partnership, is aimed at an attorney experienced in handling structured securities offerings, particularly within commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will represent a diverse array of clients, including REITs, public and private real estate companies, and institutional investors, in complex transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, financings, and property developments.Duties:Oversee and manage structured securities offerings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with client objectives.Advise and represent clients in a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and development projects.Provide strategic legal counsel on real estate finance and investment structuring to support client portfolio goals.Work closely with clients, partners, and cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate smooth transaction execution.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support sophisticated financial transactions and regulatory compliance efforts.Requirements:At least 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law.In-depth knowledge of real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices for real estate investment structuring.Prior experience with a reputable law firm, ideally within the AmLaw 100.Licensed to practice law in New York.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.Skills:Strong analytical and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.Sound business judgment and effective decision-making capabilities.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Client-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and recognized holidays.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.Supportive, collaborative work environment fostering career development.
