This professional-track (non-partnership) position is geared toward an attorney with extensive experience in structured securities offerings, particularly within commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will represent clients, including REITs, public and private real estate companies, and institutional investors, across a range of transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and property developments.Duties:Oversee structured securities offerings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with client goals.Represent clients in a diverse array of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, complex financings, and development.Provide strategic guidance on real estate finance and structuring investment portfolios to support client objectives.Work closely with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support sophisticated financial transactions and regulatory adherence.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience in structured securities offerings, with a primary focus on commercial real estate law.Expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices for structuring real estate investments.Experience with a reputable law firm, ideally within the AmLaw 100.Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the Minnesota State Bar.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills, with close attention to detail.Excellent business judgment and complex decision-making abilities.Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Client-focused approach with strong communication and relationship management skills.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and recognized holidays.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work environment fostering career development.
