This professional-track position (non-partnership) is suited for an attorney with extensive expertise in structured securities offerings, particularly within the commercial real estate sector. The role includes representing a diverse clientele, such as REITs, public and private real estate companies, and institutional investors, across a range of transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, financings, and property developments.Duties:Oversee and manage structured securities offerings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and client objectives.Represent clients in various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and development projects.Provide strategic legal advice on real estate finance and structuring of investment portfolios to support client goals.Collaborate effectively with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support complex financial transactions and regulatory compliance.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years experience managing structured securities offerings, with a focus on commercial real estate law.Strong background in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices in real estate investment structuring.Previous experience with a prominent law firm, preferably within the AmLaw 100.Licensed to practice law in Illinois.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the Illinois State Bar.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills, with attention to detail.Excellent business judgment and effective decision-making capabilities.Outstanding organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and recognized holidays.Professional growth and career advancement opportunities.Collaborative and supportive work environment fostering career development.
