As a Senior Regulatory Engineer, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility. If you are a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, enjoy analysis, and strive for integrity, quality, and customer focus in your career, this is the position for you!As a Senior Regulatory Engineer - Homologation, a typical day might include the following: * Develop strategic and tactical processes for maintaining records of compliance and associated technical requirements. * Review and approve product homologation and other compliance documentation. * Assess product compliance documentation for conformance to country regulations. * Envision trends to product regulatory requirements and guide SEL to minimize future impacts. * Evaluate and research compliance requirements for new products and technologies. * Establish companywide homologation procedures and processes. * Advise internal and external customers as a recognized subject matter expert in product compliance. * Direct and guide standards under development by direct or indirect influence.This job might be for you if you have: * A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience * 10+ years working knowledge in product compliance and homologation practices for industrial, medical, or commercial product * Strong working knowledge of common compliance related test equipment, test chambers, and testing practices. * Knowledge of the following product homologation requirements: EMC (FCC, IC, CE, EAC, RCM); safety standards (NRTL, CSA, NOM, EAC, RCM, CE); product ecology (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, packaging); wireless (Wi-Fi, cellular, 900 MHz, GNSS * Self motivation and are a self-starter. * Strong writing, documentation, and public speaking skills. * The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. * The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. * Leadership experience (preferred).Pullman, WA- SEL's corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
