Purpose & Objectives The Product Introduction and Advisory Program works with all of the Product Managers at SuccessFactors, who are responsible for leading the design and development of our cloud-based Business Execution software suite. We work with a wide variety of external and internal groups throughout the entire product development cycle. The responsibility for this position is to provide support to enable product managers to interact directly with customers. These programs include virtual and in-person panels, beta, early adopter care, design advisor programs, and executive innovation board meetings. The SAP SuccessFactors Product Management team is focused on creating next generation, cutting-edge products that provide customers with an awesome experience and tremendous value. An important aspect of this innovation process is talking directly with customers to obtain their feedback and guidance throughout the product development lifecycle. As a team, we collect and analyze customer and market data to determine product priorities, and then we champion those strategies to ensure max customer and company success. Expectations & Tasks Collaborate closely with product managers, Customer Engagement Executives, Customer Adoption / VIP, Solution Advisors, Market Introduction, Customer Community, Continuous Influence and other colleagues and customers to develop engaging forums to obtain customer input and advice on product features and functions through various forums, including in-person advisory panels, beta and early adopter care programs, and Design Advisors Create content descriptions, develop registration mechanisms, publicize session content Coach product managers on best practices for running panels and other product advisory programs Work with global VIP teams to define and deliver content that works within their programs while giving product managers a chance to interact face to face with customers. Host virtual and in-person panels Communicate directly with customers and internal contacts (CEEs, CSMs, AEs) to keep them apprised of opportunities and status Assist with creation of surveys and customer Jam groups as needed by teams to collect info and collaborate with customers Work with the SAP Influence team and product managers to figure out best way to incorporate customer ideas from the site into products and demonstrate to customers that we are listening Ensure that session results are captured in a way that can be accessed and referenced later. Maintain customer database and ensure that Feedback Agreements are in place when needed. Continuously refine the operational aspects of how programs are run Learning & Development Opportunities Many products within the SuccessFactors suite are adding innovations that require customer input and feedback. Since we launched the Product Advisory Programs in April of 2018, we have run over 40 product Advisory Panels including twenty in-person panels in collaboration with the Value & Innovation in Practice (VIP) program. We have touched over 1,500 customers and 50 product managers. This role will give you exposure to the breadth of SuccessFactors products, getting the opportunity to work with a number of product managers across the suite as well as with colleagues in other areas of the business. It will also give you exposure to all aspects of the product development life-cycle, from initiation through adoption. Most important, you will get the chance to hear 1st-hand from customers what they are expecting from our new innovations. You'll also get the chance to further develop your customer-facing skills. Learn the art of product management, how to collect and analyze customer data to help product managers determine product priorities, and together champion those strategies to ensure max customer and company success.
