We specialize in guiding individuals through divorces and family law matters, prioritizing the protection of children, assets, and peace. Responsibilities:• Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, and legal briefs• Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research• Manage law office activities such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers• Perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls and maintaining an organized case filing system• Conduct client interviews to gather information about legal matters Qualifications: • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference• ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired• Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar• Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills• 5+ years of legal service experience in a family law firm• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal software a plus• Strong organizational and time-management skills• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in writing Compensation: $65,000 yearly About Company: What Makes Kimbrough Legal the Best Place to Work: Kimbrough Legal is a trusted premier law firm serving clients in Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas.
