We provide services across the Enterprise Technology Stack for business process outsourcing, analytics and engineering, applications, security, cloud, IT outsourcing and modern workplace. **** This position requires working onsite in Windsor Locks, CT ****** Senior Network Engineer Senior Network engineering position, primarily supporting the Cisco Wireless LAN (WLAN) architecture and run operations globally. This includes direct management of the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) environment used for management and authentication of WLAN infrastructure and clients. Essential Job Functions: * Assist in the management and operation of infrastructure services, providing support to the team. * Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure strategies and projects. * Help maintain the performance and availability of infrastructure systems while troubleshooting issues. * Collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and support design and/or implementation. * Participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within the infrastructure services. * Assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports. * Contribute to the optimization of resource allocation for infrastructure tasks and projects. * Effective communication to provide support and collaborate with team members. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience * Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role * Proven experience in infrastructure technology management * Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork * A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology Other Qualifications: 5+ years managing Cisco ISE for client and guest authentication to Cisco WLAN infrastructure An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus * Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, are a plus Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
