SMMA has an opportunity for a Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience, the ability to lead a range of multiple design project types, and a good balance of leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills. Our Engineering team is a part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design firm with a dynamic mix of architects and engineers. Key Responsibilities: Provide project leadership from concept design through construction administration phases in a range of project types. Guide and mentor junior team members through project design phases. Represent the firm in client meetings and marketing pursuits. Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and an interest in continuing to learn. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in building systems design and leading design projects Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A PE is required A PE is required Knowledge of Revit, Load Calculation Programs, MS Office About the Firm: SMMA remains one of the area’s most unique design firms due to its composition, reputation, and focus.
