This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business.National Grid is hiring aSenior Marketing Associate, Business Customer Energy Management in Waltham, MA.Job PurposeIn this role you will be part of a Marketing team who is dedicated to helping businesses operate in an energy-efficient way. National Grid is looking for a resourceful self-starter who is passionate about the opportunity to promote energy-saving solutions to large and small businesses across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. The analyst will be responsible for developing commercial and industrial marketing plans and launching omni-channel campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of products and services as well as engage customers in their journey.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and executing marketing plans, strategies and messaging to drive product adoption. This includes creating compelling insight-driven marketing briefs and plan to inform creative and campaign developmentOptimize marketing plans based on data and analytics, and performance on marketing tacticsDevelop relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies in order develop and implement activities that support National Grid's product strategy.Manage budget, process and track invoices, and maintain marketing calendarWork with internal customer insights team to understand customer and apply research to optimize results with choosing marketing channels, and messaging.Proactively research, monitor and analyze key marketing themes and trends to influence marketing efforts and identify new ways to engage customersUnderstand relevant industry regulation, practices, and legislation. Maintain and provide details, such as regulatory details to ensure communications comply with all regulatory requirements and are kept up to date with relevant National Grid policies, processes and programsAchieve brand alignment to ensure holistic customer backgroundPrepare and write relevant documentation, Project Briefs and PowerPoint presentationsSupervisory/Interpersonal- Background RequiredA strong track record of managing stakeholder and customer engagement to deliver business outputs.Demonstrated skill of working within a large, global, complex organization within a multi-stakeholder environment.Strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills.RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree level qualification, preferably in Marketing/Communications, and/or a professional qualification in Marketing/Communications and at least five years background of working in brand, marketing and communications.Background the development, execution and management of marketing campaignsBackground working with external vendors/agencies and other critical communications partners.Background with consumer goods / technology products is a plusProficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft office suite products (Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint).Capability RequirementsAnalytical Thinking (2): Identifies basic relationships between sources of data, such as cause and effect or if-then relationships.Customer Orientation (2): Takes personal responsibility for correcting problems promptly and communicates customer expectations to monitor delivery and satisfaction.Impact and Influence (1): Uses direct persuasion to influence others, using basic data, logic or a solid business case.Conceptual Thinking (2): Sees patterns or trends in data or situations, notices when something is similar to a past situation.Attention to Detail (3): Monitors quality of others' work, checks to ensure procedures are followed.Knows how to remain motivated, engaged and positive with an eye towards personal developmentStrong Project Management expertiseAbility to work cross functionally within a highly matrix organizationProactive, Resourceful, Solutions Oriented, Drive for ResultsWell organized and flexible to adapt to rapidly changing market conditionsEnergetic, self-starter who demonstrates leadership.Strong interpersonal, communications, organizational, and issue solving abilities.More DetailsNational Gridis an equal opportunity employer thatvaluesa broad diversity of talent, knowledge, background and ability.
