Purpose We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join International Wealth Management's Operations (IWMO), Risk Transformation team as a Senior Manager, Control Design, Implementation & Monitoring. In this role, you will report directly to the Director, 1A Risk Oversight & Transformation, IWMO. Under the leadership of the 1A Risk Transformation Director, the Senior Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and implementing a comprehensive suite of horizontal controls to mitigate non-financial risks in partnership with multiple stakeholders across GWM, IWM and IB’s wealth lines of business to ensure a consolidated view of the effectiveness of key controls and risk programs. The Senior Manager acts as key point of contact for Risk Reporting across IWM established at Enterprise level. The position will also be accountable for developing a robust Sales Practices monitoring framework for the related IWM business lines to identify opportunities to mitigate current and emerging risks. You will be expected to quickly gain an understanding of IWM's products, policies, vendors, and business lines to articulate their needs to our stakeholders as it plays a crucial role in ensuring a consistent approach to risk management across the IWM footprint. IWM’s footprint includes 10+ jurisdictions and business lines include Private Banking; Onshore and Offshore Trust; Onshore and Offshore brokerage; Asset Management & Pensions. Accountabilities • Establishes and oversees the application of compliance and operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks • Supports the design and development of risk frameworks, operating models, and process re-engineering in accordance with applicable.
