Well Known Company seeking Experience Maintenance TechnicianEssential Functions / ResponsibilitiesØ Leadershipo Foster/Build teamwork between shifts and other departmentso Improve employee skills through the development of a training programo Follow up to ensure all work is completed correctly and in a timely mannero Monitor and maintain 5S standards (fixed locations, cleanliness, etc.)o Maintain organization of Maintenance Department Area and any other area where work is in progresso Practice good management principles and adhere to established best practices in directing, reviewing, disciplining and motivating employeesØ Technicalo Ability to perform work requiring knowledge of electrical: wiring specifications, local and national electrical codes, principles of operation and application of electronic equipment as requiredo Ability to upgrade machine controls is requiredo Ability to program PLC's is required (Automation Direct and Allen Bradley)o Ability to troubleshoot, program and replace AC variable speed drives is requiredo Ability to service manufacturing and test equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty componentso Ability to service and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical equipmento Ability to service and repair HVAC systemso Strong mechanical aptitude and welding experience requiredØ Safetyo Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor to develop new and improve existing safety practiceso Engage employees to drive further safety enhancements/improvementso Insure safe working practices are followedMinimum Qualifications:Ø Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing backgroundØ Extensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systemsØ Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematicsØ Must be able to troubleshoot machine controls and PLC'sØ Must be able to program PLC'sØ Must be able to Mig, Arc and Tig weldØ Must be able to lift, push or move a minimum of 60 poundsØ Good math skillsØ Towmotor license, or able to secure license within 2 weeksØ Must be a self-starter (not requiring constant direction or follow-up) and are capable problem-solversØ Must demonstrate positive leadership and the ability to train othersØ Must have basic computer skills; use of MS Office ProductsØ Flexibility with regard to work schedule as this role may require early arrival and late departure above and beyond "normal" shift timesØ Must have good communication skills on all levelsØ Must be able to work with outside vendorsØ Must be able to manage/prioritize multiple projects/daily issues simultaneouslyDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ø Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentØ Facility Maintenance experience REM3
