This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment, handling a variety of legal challenges across multiple areas of litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil defense litigation with at least 10 years of experience, particularly in general liability, professional liability, or employment claims. This opportunity offers growth potential and a supportive environment for professional development.Duties:Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from initiation to trial.Handle cases involving general liability, professional liability, and/or employment claims.Provide counsel and strategic legal advice on complex legal matters.Manage a caseload in various litigation areas such as casualty, construction defect, and medical malpractice.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management.Engage in legal research, draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Maintain client relationships and communicate legal strategies and outcomes.Requirements:10+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in civil defense.Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.Prior experience in casualty, construction defect, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, or general liability litigation is highly preferred.Previous work at an insurance defense litigation firm is a plus.Proven ability to handle complex litigation cases independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Lexis software.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar membership in Pennsylvania.Skills:Excellent writing and organizational skills.Strong research and analytical abilities.Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload.Proficient in legal software and office productivity tools.Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.Benefits:401(k) and 401(k) matchingDental, vision, and health insuranceLife insurancePaid time offFlexible work scheduleReferral program This law firm was founded over two decades ago and specializes in defense litigation.
