The position In this role, you will assist the Senior Director of Legal, Quality and Compliance (LQC) in continuously looking at the strategic direction of legal and compliance priorities in the UK business, liaising closely with senior colleagues on an affiliate, Regional and Head Quarter level. Additionally, you will play a vital part in ensuring business ethics remain high on the agenda and that the business remains compliant, and risks are mitigated. Your main tasks will include: : Legal advice to UK affiliates on a variety of legal matters such as: data privacy, competition law, commercial, contracts: Continuously raise the awareness of legal risks according to current legislation: Maintenance of legal internal processes and its continuous improvement: GDPR responsible, ensuring the awareness on new data privacy laws, the GDPR project implementation and maintenance by line of business: Coordinate advice with our ABPI Code experts to ensure Business Ethics compliance with all company processes, in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidelines including UK Medicines Law, the ABPI Code of Practice, MHRA guidelines and other agencies such as the Advertising Standards Authority and company standard operating procedures Additionally, you will play a vital part in ensuring business ethics remain high on the agenda and that the business remains compliant, and risks.
