The ideal candidate will have significant experience in immigration court litigation and a passion for providing high-quality legal support to clients navigating the evolving immigration landscape.LocationNew York, NYDutiesLead and manage a range of immigration litigation cases from intake to completionRepresent clients in immigration proceedings, including Master and Individual hearingsHandle a busy docket defending the Immigration and Nationality Act and related executive policies in district and appellate courtsAttend various USCIS interviews, including Adjustment of Status, Stokes, I-751, and Naturalization interviewsPrepare and file motions, evidence, and correspondence with the Immigration Court and the Office of the Chief CounselFile Notices of Appeal and Appellate briefs with the Board of Immigration AppealsResearch and draft legal petitions and documentsPrepare and litigate SIJS petitions before New York Family CourtsSupervise and train junior associates and support staffReport case statuses to partners and manage tasks of supporting personnelRequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree requiredAdmitted to a State Bar (New York preferred)Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex immigration litigationAdmission to Federal Circuit Courts (1st to 11th) is a plusBilingual in Spanish and English is advantageousEducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolCertificationsActive Bar admission in any U.S. state (NY preferred)SkillsStrong analytical, organizational, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to effectively manage a large docket of cases and meet deadlinesProficiency in legal research and litigation practicesExcellent client service and case management abilitiesBenefits401(k) with employer matchingComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending account and health savings account optionsLife insurance and paid time offProfessional development assistance and ongoing training opportunities This full-services global law firm has offices in China and the United States.
