A company is looking for a Senior Ground Software Operations Engineer to support the development of tools and processes for hyperspectral imagery operations. Key Responsibilities Design software architecture for efficient data upload and download Model tasking scenarios and perform trade studies for satellite coverage Develop and tune scheduling algorithms for hyperspectral imaging satellites Required Qualifications BS in Computer Science or Aerospace/Mechanical/Astronautical Engineering 5+ years of experience in the Aerospace/Space/Software industry Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++ Experience with Linux/Unix OS commands for scripting Familiarity with software APIs for telemetry data handling
