The Global Toy, Licensing, and Entertainment (TLE) Finance Team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate sophisticated financial information across diverse audiences. A day in the life of a Senior Financial Analyst Your day involves a blend of strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and insightful communication. The core activities revolve around financial analysis, which includes tasks like conducting profitability assessments, assessing budget performance, and building sophisticated financial models. Financial Analysis and Reporting Portfolio Financial Management: Partner closely with brand management, product development and engineering teams to ensure product portfolio is achieving key profitability and performance targets. Perform Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial assessments to inform critical business strategies. This includes analyzing profitability, optimizing costs, and projecting revenue growth. Comprehensive Financial Reporting: Build and support detailed financial reports for senior management and business partners. These reports will highlight trends, variances, and performance traits to inform decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate on the formulation of long-range financial strategies, encompassing aspects such as product assortment planning, pricing, and costing. Partner with the business to build financial forecasts and establish targets. Monitor progress against financial, operational, and strategic goals. Budget Development and Forecasting: Collaborate closely with Finance leadership and department heads to build annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Budget Monitoring and Deviation Analysis: Continuously track budget performance, identifying any deviations from the planned financial targets. When discrepancies occur, recommend and implement corrective actions to ensure alignment with goals. What you’ll bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus. 5+ years of dynamic financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in a CPG or retail environment. Proficiency with financial modeling, data analysis tools and a familiarity with ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot and VBA. Knowledge of data visualization and charting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Think-Cell) is preferred. Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
