This role primarily centers around providing legal guidance on compensation and benefits matters related to mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to draft complex agreements, manage incentive plans, and work with a diverse range of clients in a dynamic legal environment.Duties:Draft and negotiate executive employment agreements.Develop and manage equity incentive plans, including profits interest plans.Advise on executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions.Provide counsel on a wide array of employment-related issues.Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Requirements:Experience in executive compensation, employee benefits, or related legal fields.Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating executive compensation agreements.Experience in advising on equity-based compensation plans and MA-related benefits issues.Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with precision and attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar.Skills:Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Job Location:Boston, MA As one of the largest law firms in the U.S. with more than 40 offices, it was founded in 1967.
