Come join us in reinventing the RF Front-End! Why Consider This Job Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Device Engineer to join our product integration team. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with RF designers, test engineers, and the acoustic simulation team to develop novel RF filters for high-volume production. This is an opportunity to become a key contributor to our dynamic organization and leverage your experience to solve high-value problems for mobile devices. Workplace Policy Hybrid What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Responsible for ensuring reliable, high-power operation of acoustic filters on novel XBAR technology. Build an understanding of key acoustic, electrical, and thermal behaviors of XBARTM technology; identify performance tradeoffs and mitigation techniques. Develop, use, and maintain internal and commercially available simulation tools for high-power circuit operation; leverage empirical data and phenomenological models to set appropriate design rules. Codify best practices in Design for Power and accelerated lifetime testing; share learning with Design and Test teams. Physical failure analysis, large-scale data analysis, and root cause analysis of measured samples and Customer Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). Create experiment and test evaluation plans to support aggressive technology and product development schedules. What Is Required (Qualifications) Master’s or PhD in Physics or Electrical Engineering; Bachelor’s in Physics or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience in microwave acoustics, semiconductor, and/or micro-electromechanical systems (MEMs) technologies in Design, Process, or Product Engineering role. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Design or device experience in SAW or BAW acoustic filters. Proficiency in AWR or ADS circuit design environments. Experience with COMSOL, ANSYS, or other FEM multi-physics simulation tools. Experience in acoustics, MEMs, or semiconductor reliability testing and modeling. Experience in technology or product development for high-volume commercial applications. Travel Domestic travel between California offices is required .
