The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in drafting and negotiating definitive and ancillary documents, managing deal processes and client relationships, as well as supervising junior associates.Duties:Lead the drafting and negotiation of definitive and ancillary documents related to mergers and acquisitions.Manage deal processes and client relationships effectively.Supervise and mentor junior associates in mergers and acquisitions matters.Handle day-to-day demands on various mergers and acquisitions related issues.Requirements:6-8 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.High degree of maturity and business sense.Ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.Experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Certifications:Membership in good standing with the Illinois State Bar Association or relevant State Bar association.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Team player with leadership abilities.
