The ideal candidate will have a strong background in class actions and regulatory enforcement actions and be familiar with relevant federal and state laws.Duties:Represent clients in complex commercial litigation related to consumer financial services.Defend financial institutions in class actions and regulatory enforcement actions.Advise clients on compliance with the Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Equal Opportunity Credit Act.Interpret and apply federal and state laws governing unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices.Develop litigation strategies and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other court documents.Conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal counsel.Manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.Stay updated on legal developments and changes in consumer financial services regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Proven track record in defending financial institutions, emphasizing class actions and regulatory enforcement.In-depth knowledge of consumer financial services laws and regulations.Superior academic credentials.Strong written and oral communication skills.Active Bar license in CO, CA, or PA preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar license in one or more states: CO, CA, or PA preferred.Skills:Expertise in consumer financial services litigation and related laws.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in legal research and case management.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines effectively.Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.Benefits:Medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.Life insurance and short and long-term disability.401(k) retirement savings plan.Health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts.Health savings account.Firm-subsidized emergency child and elder care services.Family and medical leave.Employee assistance program.Pre-tax transportation program.
