This role focuses on complex transactional matters within the Capital Markets practice, with a specialization in structured finance, asset-backed lending, and securitization. The position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic legal environment.Location:New York, NY.Duties:Engage in complex transactions, including:Repo transactionsAsset-backed lendingLoan-on-loan arrangementsSecuritization and structured financeStructured products, corporate finance, and real estate transactionsCommercial real estate collateralized loan obligations (CRE CLO) (preferred but not required)Draft, negotiate, and structure a variety of financial agreements.Provide specialized legal guidance in structured finance and capital markets.Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in:Capital markets and structured finance transactionsAsset-backed lending, securitization, and loan-on-loan structuresCorporate finance and real estate financeStrong academic credentials.Experience at a reputable law firm.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in New York or eligibility to waive into the jurisdiction.Skills:Advanced knowledge of structured finance, capital markets, and asset-backed lending.Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
