Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, Job Overview A prestigious law firm is seeking a Senior Attorney with extensive litigation experience to represent California consumers in Lemon Law cases. The role involves aggressive, discovery-driven litigation tactics, with opportunities to engage in multiple phases of trial practice, collaborate on firm policies, and supervise junior attorneys. This is a hybrid position based in Roseville, CA, with opportunities for growth and involvement in high-impact legal work.LocationRoseville, CA DutiesConduct complex legal research to support Lemon Law cases.Take responsibility for trial efforts, typically as second or third chair.Draft and file moving papers, oppositions, and address novel legal issues.Appear at hearings for motions and oppositions.Conduct depositions of key witnesses, including experts and executives.Provide assistance with trial strategy and trial preparation.Oversee and mentor entry-level and mid-level associate attorneys.Recommend improvements in client communication strategies.Collaborate with colleagues to implement and improve firm policies and procedures.Provide legal support for the coordination of interdepartmental operations.Resolve any arising legal issues in a timely manner.RequirementsMinimum 7 years of litigation experience.Experience in consumer protection or related areas of law.Active member in good standing with the California Bar.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Willingness to travel within California for court appearances, vehicle inspections, and depositions.Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.EducationJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed attorney, member of the California Bar in good standing.SkillsExcellent written and oral communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.Strong organizational abilities, with a capacity to track deadlines and manage a heavy workload.Collaborative mindset and ability to operate in a team-oriented environment.Supervisory experience preferred, but not required.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.Interest in consumer protection and advocacy.BenefitsAttractive and competitive compensation package.HMO/PPO Medical Plans.PPO Dental and Vision Insurance.Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) plans.Basic Life Insurance.401(k) plan with contributions up to 10%.529 Plan.Pet Insurance.Comprehensive training provided by senior attorneys and partners.Weekly breakfast for staff.Hybrid work schedule (optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays).
