Senior Associate Data Scientist - Private Client Office

Join us to reshaping the future! As a Sales Senior Associate Data Scientist within the JP Morgan Private client Sales Strategy team, you will be responsible for supporting partner relationships through analytical data exploration and reporting on outcomes. You will conduct ad-hoc (diagnostic/tactical/strategic) deep dives, design tests, and analyze overall portfolio performance, with an emphasis on controls execution and monitoring. You will serve as an internal partner collaborator and be responsible for providing analytical insights. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: * 3+ years' experience with analysis supporting an operating line of business, financial services experience preferred * Bachelors with experience in a quantitative or related discipline or Masters or PhD in a related field * Intermediate knowledge of statistical software packages, including SAS, Python and R * Practical knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, time series forecasting, text mining, Machine Learning * Experience in Big Data platforms and related technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Apache Spark etc. * Technical understanding of common relational database systems; i.e., Teradata and Oracle * Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to work and collaborate with internal and external partners. * Comfortable communicating complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels in the organization * Problem-solving skills are essential. Must be able to think outside the box to implement creative solutions that solve business problems. * Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines.
