The candidate will advise and counsel clients on sophisticated employment law issues including wage and hour, terminations and employee discipline, reductions in force, accommodation issues, leave laws, and similar issues. Will partner with clients on not only the legal requirements but also develop practical solutions for the client's business. Will have a particular focus on wage and hour matters, including drafting and review of incentive and commission plans, conducting audits of wage and hour practices, and assessment of pay practices. Significant experience responding to wage and hour issues is a must. Attorneys with significant wage and hour litigation experience looking to transition into an advice and counseling role will be strongly considered. Should have additional experience in responding to disability leave and accommodation questions; handling handbook and policy reviews; reviewing incentive and compensation plans; and conducting training.
