Manage the operational, staff and financial activities related to the general ledger function of the accounting department. Responsibilities : Monitor and analyze the general ledger Establish and implement policies and procedures Coordinate interim and year-end financial audit activities Coordinate and prepare 990 tax returns Manage staff accountants Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. Three years general ledger experience Knowledge of the theory and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
