We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making and improve overall financial performance. Senior Accountant A. Job Responsibilities As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in Providing strategic financial guidance to leadership, contributing to the overall success of the organization . The core responsibilities include managing accounting functions, providing guidance to support staff, and ensuring legal compliance . B. Job Functions Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to refine, lead and execute the company’s vision of a safety focused culture Excellent organizational skills Professional in all aspects of his/her behavior. Good Communication skills, both oral and written. Technical expertise in all Accounting functions. Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. Must be self motivated and work without direct supervision. Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. C. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Oversee general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes. Assist the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections to support business objectives. Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and reports ensuring accuracy and completeness, presenting key insights and trends to senior management. Oversee and review reconciliation of statements for all bank accounts and financial statements. Provide oversight to Accounts Payable function including vendor set-up, vendor bills and automated payment processing. Process monthly recurring journal entries and prepare all monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Supervise the cash management process (AP/AR) with meticulous attention to detail. Develop and implement internal controls, minimizing financial risks and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Provide job cost analytical support. Process weekly check run and submit positive pay and files to bank. Issue new company credit cards, provide cardholder support, manage credit card program. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies. Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) department and accounting team members. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to streamline financial operations Additional responsibilities as required. D. E. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience required Strong knowledge of construction finance and financial modeling Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel; experience with Foundation or similar platforms is a plus Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail Highly organized and efficient with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
