Purpose This role provides review and validation of all O&M and Capital WBS's that are created in SAP. This role will act as a power user to provide proactive and reactive measure as well as coaching to the WBS Preparer. The WBS Senior Accountant will check and validate all WBS creation and settlement rules are done correctly before passing onto the WBS Approver for the release. Will identify and make correction to WBS that are expired, and/or with the improper settlement rules and guide WBS Preparer in using the system and educate them to make correction and detect error, ensuring the system is creating and collecting cost correctly. #LI-Hybrid Accountabilities • Develop new business process for PPM/PS centralization initiative: Create directory of key stakeholders Create repository for technical and functional documentation, process and work flows SAP roles, responsibilities and security MDG Training plan and repository Support Service Hub workflow & ticketing system Triage handling Ensuring business can meet their internal management reporting, external GAAP reporting, and regulatory reporting needs • Lead PPM/PS centralization project Testing Training User support Review • PS/WBS maintenance Review Updating person responsible Settlement rules Allocation structure Mass changes Education and Experience 3 years of experience working within SAP FICO & Project Systems 3 years of accounting experience preferably within utility industry with understanding of the regulatory reporting environment SAP PS certification would be an asset 1+ years of hands-on.
