Our office is currently accepting applications to fill the role of Part-Time Secretary within the Finishing Trades Institute of the Ohio Region Apprenticeship department. The ideal candidate will perform skilled clerical work, and provide general support to other department staff. The Secretary will be responsible for uploading current and historical documents, assisting with mailings, maintaining training files and facilitating communication among internal departments. Bilingual is preferred but not required. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated, able to prioritize work assignments as they come in, and capable of working without supervision. We offer excellent benefits, and desirable wages. Responsibilities and Qualifications Respond to queries in person, via telephone or email Maintain general company record systems to uphold accurate training files Screen documents and take messages Perform administrative tasks including filing, mail merges, data entry Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently Friendly and professional demeanor Self-motivated and able to motivate others Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, 365 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Previous administrative and clerical experience desired Powered by JazzHR
