The Village of Palatine Department of Public Works is seeking... Seasonal Snow Plow Drivers These positions perform snow plowing and ice control operations on Village streets using heavy-duty trucks. Positions are temporary for the 2024-2025 winter season. Work is weather dependent with no guarantee of hours. Qualifications: • Previous snow plow operations experience, especially working on streets, is preferred.• Must possess a valid Illinois Class A or B commercial driver's license with full air brake endorsement. • Ability to work on an as-needed, temporary basis is required.• Must be eligible for employment in the U.S. and pass a pre-employment background check and medical and drug screening (including cannabis). Salary: Rate: $27.00 per hour. Employment Duration: 4 months (approximately December 2024 through March 2025) To Apply: Candidates must complete the full application to be considered for this position.
