We look forward to speaking with you soon! Location: Gages Lake, IL ABOUT THE SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER ROLE: Manage a caseload of K-6 th grade students. Support in a Therapeutic Day School environment for students that have emotional disturbance and/or behavior concerns. Work alongside a supportive, collaborative team. Partner with parents/guardians, staff, and administration to support the needs of students. Assess, identify, and provide clinical interventions to students with emotional, social, attendance, and/or behavioral concerns within the general education population. Perform consultations with classroom teachers and be a resource for school site personnel on mental health and social/emotional issues that may affect classroom performance. More duties as assigned. SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in School Social Work (MSW) is required. Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement is required.
