Assured Healthcare Staffing is looking to find an RN to support a school located in Round Lake, IL . This is a great opportunity that will be ongoing until the district hires a full - time RN. **Immediate start** Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am-2:15pm Pay: $35-$37/hr Job Description: Oversee the emotional, mental, physical and social health of students. Provide students with basic health services throughout the school day. Must be able to respond to emergencies, pass medications, have knowledge on diabetics and documentation. Manage students who have chronic health conditions and students with disabilities. This includes giving them medication as needed and working with parents and teachers to create and enforce care plans. Working as a school nurse requires organization, as you will often handle many cases throughout the day and school year. Flexibility is a must as you will be treating students with a scope of needs. *Must have an active license for the state of IL.
