Our students, staff, and community respectfully acknowledge and value the diverse cultures, lifestyles, experiences, perspectives, and identities of each other.Qualifications Required: Master's Degree in Education Psychology or School Psychology Michigan Department of Education approval as a school psychologistQualifications Desired: Knowledge of state and federal mandates that relate to the evaluation and identification of students with disabilities Ability to analyze, interpret and report quantitative and qualitative data Strong understanding in Multi-Tiered-Systems-of-Support (MTSS) Experience with data-based decision models for continuous improvement and/or intervention planning Expertise in assessment including curriculum-based measurement and diagnostic practices Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated Excellent verbal and written communications skills with students, parents, and staff members Excellent organizational skills Ability to work as a team member Possess technology knowledge and skills. Knowledge and Experience with Behavioral Analysis including Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.Physical Requirements and Work Environment: This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking. The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.
