School Matron Location : Cambridge Full Time (Part Time also available) Term time only School hours only Very respected school Residential or Non: Residential Criteria Passion for working with children and young people Desire to provide a safe and caring environment for students Good interpersonal and communication skills Benefits Great rates of pay Ongoing training to enhance your skills and practices Good holiday entitlement Pension Plan Responsible for, however not limited to the following: Ensure that residence rules are followed, in accordance with the student and boarding handbook, notices and residential student induction information and to act appropriately, recording the misdemeanour and action taken Maintain records of all communications/contacts with parents and guardians Ensure that younger students are supervised and cared for more closely than sixth formers Develop, in the students, a sense of collective responsibility and sensitivity to the difficulties and needs, of others, and to encourage such support and help for each other as is appropriate.
