Job Title: School Age Group Assistant (min 16 years old) Lead Staff (min 18 years old) Location: North Adams @ MCLA Church St Location Hours: Part-time, Monday-Friday, before 6:30am -8:30am and / or after-school hours 3:00pm - 5:30pm Salary: $15.35-$18.23 per hour, based on experience Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a School Age Group Lead Staff. The School Age Group Lead Staff will be responsible for leading and coordinating activities for school-aged children in an after-school program.Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for school-aged children- Supervise and interact with children in a positive and engaging manner- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all children- Communicate effectively with parents and staff members- Assist with snack preparation and distribution- Maintain a clean and organized program space- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requiredQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in education or related field preferred- Previous experience working with children in a group setting- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members- Strong organizational and time management skills- CPR and First Aid certification preferred- Ability to pass a background checkTo apply for the School Age Group Lead Staff position at North Adams Brayton School, please submit a resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
