POSITION GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The Project Scheduler prov ides assistance to Business Development, Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and the Director of Preconstruction throughout the duration of the specific construction project. POSITION CHARACTERISTICS : An energetic, forward thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards, appropriate professional image, sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong management focus. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and retains good communication skills. This position requires a versatile individual who is results-oriented, well-organized, self-directed and who is a team player. POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Meet with General Managers, Business Development and Director of Preconstruction to develop Proposal/Bid Schedules and Preconstruction Schedules. Meet with Project Managers, Superintendents and Subcontractors to develop comprehensive Construction Schedules. Visit project sites to review progress and attend coordination meetings. Assist in development of recovery / acceleration schedules, including resource and manpower input. Receive, review, log, track and distribute bi-weekly schedule update reports in scheduling software Work with Project Management to update on-site material delivery dates. Assist Project Manager with Subcontractor schedule coordination and manpower requirements necessary for implementation into project schedules. Assist with additional projects, duties, and tasks as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS : Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge Required: Basic computer abilities, a thorough understanding of P6 and understanding of the construction industry. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of construction experience required Skills/Abilities: Must possess stro ng organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
